How much does mobile detailing cost in Houston?

It's one of the questions we get most. The short answer: it depends on your vehicle's size and the condition it's in. A clean sedan doesn't cost the same as a truck that hasn't been detailed in years. Still, here are real ranges so you have a clear idea.

Detailing (complete wash inside and out): from $170. Includes vacuum, surfaces, hand wash, decontamination and wax.

Full Detailing: from $299. Everything above plus deep steam shampoo, engine bay and a longer-lasting sealant.

Interior Only: from $180, if your exterior is fine but the inside needs attention.

Why is mobile service worth it? You don't waste time driving your car anywhere — we come to your home in the Houston area. You get on with your day while we work.

What affects the price?

Three things: the size of the vehicle (a sedan uses less product and time than a truck), the condition it arrives in (the dirtier or more neglected, the more work), and the extras you add, like headlight restoration, sealant or seat ceramic coating. That's why we always give the final price based on your car.

How often should you get a detail?

For most cars in Houston, a full detail every 3 to 4 months keeps the paint protected and the interior spotless. If you have kids, pets or drive a lot, more frequent maintenance is worth it. And if you already have a ceramic coating, regular gentle washes are enough.

Note: we perform detailing at your location. For services like ceramic coating or paint correction, the car is worked on at our location, because they require a controlled environment and several hours.

How much does ceramic coating cost in Houston? Is it worth it?

A ceramic coating is a long-term investment in your car. In Houston, with the intense sun and humidity, it makes a lot of sense. Our Symplex Lattice coatings are all-inclusive pricing (wash + decontamination + correction + coating) and start from $700 depending on vehicle size and the level of correction.

Why is it "worth it" in Houston?

The climate here oxidizes and dulls paint faster. A ceramic coating creates a hard layer that protects against UV rays, contaminants and water spots — and can last up to 7 years with the right maintenance. Compared to washing and waxing every month, you protect your investment far better in the long run.

When should you apply it?

Ideally on a new or freshly corrected car. If yours already has swirls, we do the correction first and then the coating — that's why we offer two levels.

What does the price include?

Our ceramic coating is all inclusive: a thorough wash, paint decontamination, correction (1 or 2 steps depending on the car's condition), and the Symplex Lattice coating application. You don't pay for the detail separately — it's already in the price.

How do I maintain it so it lasts for years?

It's easier than you think: wash your car by hand (or at a touchless wash) every 1–2 weeks, dry with microfiber, and avoid abrasive products. That keeps the coating's gloss and water beading going for years. We give you the exact instructions when we hand your car back.

Important: the ceramic coating is applied at our location (you bring your car), because it needs a dust-free environment and curing time.

Ceramic vs wax vs sealant: which does your car need?

All three protect your paint, but they're very different. We'll help you choose based on your budget and how much protection you want.

Wax (2–3 months). The most affordable option. Adds gloss and some protection. Great for anyone who details their car often and wants extra shine. Included in our Detailing package (from $170).

Sealant (6 months to 1 year). More durable, with good water repellency. Our Silex Reactive protects for up to 1 year — an excellent middle ground, from $100 as an add-on.

Ceramic coating (years). Maximum protection. A hard shell that resists UV, contaminants and light scratches, with a 7-year warranty (from $700). The best option if you plan to keep your car.

In short: you want the best and plan to keep your car → ceramic coating. Good protection without the ceramic price → sealant. Just a quick, affordable shine → wax. At your appointment we'll advise you based on your car.

And where does paint correction fit in?

None of the three "erases" scratches or swirls — that's what paint correction does, a polish that brings back the mirror gloss. The normal order is: correct first, then protect with a coating or sealant. Applying protection over scratched paint just seals the defects underneath.

Which lasts longest in Houston's climate?

With the sun and heat here, wax disappears fast (2–3 months), sealant holds up well (up to 1 year) and ceramic resists best (years). If you want the best protection-to-time ratio for Houston, ceramic wins — but sealant is a great entry point.
